Si l’Homme est si fort, si capable, y a-t-il quelque chose qu’il ne puisse pas affronter ? C’est une invitation à réfléchir à la vanité en jouant avec le paradoxe philosophique de l’omnipotence ; une énigme qui demande si un être omnipotent peut créer un rocher si gros qu’il ne pourrait pas le soulever.

Les personnages du bas ont un point commun. Leur arrogance a nourri une illusion de puissance. L’esthétique des images induit un sentiment d’inertie, comme si nous étions coincés dans une notion intemporelle : ici, se dévoile le mythe de l’Ego..

If Mankind is so strong, so capable, is there anything he cannot face? It’s an invitation to reflect on vanity by playing with the philosophical paradox of omnipotence; a riddle that asks whether an omnipotent being can create a rock so big that he couldn’t lift it.

The figures at the bottom all share a common trait. Their arrogance has fueled an illusion of power. The aesthetics of the images highlight a sense of inertia, as if we were stuck with a timeless notion: here is unveiled the Myth of Ego.
